The NFL Sports Cards Market Weekly playBYplay by prospectsrus
During week 8, two position players stood out and continued to dominate the game; Dalvin Cook and DK Metcalf.
Cook rushed for 163 yards on 30 carries. He also added four total touchdowns and now leads the NFL in scores. Since gametime, about 300 buy it nows have sold on eBay. [Look for Dalvin Cook rookie cards on eBay]
Metcalf continues to look like one of the best wideouts in the game as he caught 12 passes for 161 yards. He also added two touchdowns. Since gametime, about 400 buy it nows have sold on eBay. [Look for DK Metcalf rookie cards on eBay]
Nothing of what we saw in week 8 was shocking from these two players. They both have been consistently great halfway through the season.
Are you buying, selling, or holding Cook and Metcalf?
OMG MY MONEY Editorial Opinion: hi all, every week as Adam provides his analysis, I will provide an op-ed piece to share my personal thoughts. This is not meant to be investment advice.
I am neither a fan of holding wide receivers or running backs long term as I only focus on GOAT quarterbacks to hold long term. Can you feel how I have been burned one too many times? Two words – Adrian Peterson.
That said, if I was to hold either DK Metcalf or Dalvin Cook, I would seriously consider selling them while both are at or nearing their selling peaks. I would be surprised if either player’s cards go up that much higher. Even if the Seahawks make the playoffs, they will not go far because of their poor defense. The Vikings, well, they are terrible.
Personally I would not invest too much in either right now because you are buying at their peak after their solid performances. If i was holding either or both, I am selling.
